Apply for a Discover it Car Thru Amazon for a $50 Amazon Gift Card

This is a pretty nice offer. If you are new to Discover it, and apply through Amazon.com, upon approval you will get a $50 gift card for future Amazon.com purchases.

On top of that, you still get to enjoy the other current Discover it sign up bonuses, including doubling your cash back for the first year and the 12-month 0% APR intro offer on new purchases and transfers.

I did too. I really didn't need a new card, but the 1st year double and $50 Amazon gift card were too sweet to pass up.

Did you know, Discover turned me down for a card when I was in college. After mailing me a solicitation to apply at my university PO Box. I still have not forgiven them. So I'll be sticking to my Amazon Visa.

Hopefully, besides a grudge against Discover, you learned never to trust those pre-selected/pre-qualified solicitations.

Oh, I did. Now I just throw those offers in the mail.

And I should have known better at the time. But I was young and did not even have a credit card that the time. I just wanted a break from always needing to hit up the ATM.

Too bad I already have a Discover card. Who doesn't love a free $50 and double rewards for a year.
