Creepy Vizio Tracking Your TV Habits
Visio just settled a case with the FTC where it is alleged that Vizio tracked user viewing habits without them knowing it. And then re-sold that data to advertisers and others.

Remember, these televisions have video cameras to. They are not just watching what you're watching. They are watching you.

I saw a commercial last night for Vizio. And all I could think was: I know how they are able to sell the TVs for so little. Yuck!

TV and Device Tracking Policies
It turns out that Vizio is not the only mfr that tracks data - though they had the worst policy with an auto-opt in and no opt-out.

I have one of their cheap TVs. You get what you pay for. Arggghhh!
