    Arby's Data Breach

Following in the path of other fast food restaurants, Arby's released a statement on Friday that there was malware found on its point of sales systems at company owned restaurants.

“In some instances, the malware appears to have identified data from the card’s magnetic stripe that included the cardholder name and number and in other instances the card data identified by the malware did not appear to include the cardholder name,” the company said. “It is possible that not every card was identified.”
It is not clear if any data was stolen. But, if any was, the period in question was from October 20, 2016 to January 12, 2017.

Read Arby's statement, as well as some contact information they provided if you believe you are a victim of identity theft, here.

Time to either pay with cash.

Or respect your body and stop eating fast food.

I'll take a stolen credit card number with my roast beef, please.
