Yahoo to delist
After the Verizon deal closes, Yahoo will delist because its revenue will be small. This is interesting, because it will still have valuable stakes in other companies like Alibaba, and will still be the equivalent of an open-ended mutual fund. So will I be able to trade shares on the pink sheets? Or will it be totally illiquid?

Good question. It may not be worth waiting around for them to distribute their assets. Because there will be no impetus for that to ever happen. Not as long as management can just leech off the company for years.

I have read that the following on business insider
In January, Yahoo announced in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that after the close of the merger, the parts of Yahoo that Verizon is not buying — which includes Yahoo's 15% of the Chinese retail giant Alibaba and a part of Yahoo Japan, a joint venture with SoftBank — would continue under the name Altaba.
