SDFCU Secured Card 6.99% and no Annual Fee

State Department Federal Credit Union credit card which is secure is a great way to build your credit. The interest rate is a low 6.99% as of Oct. 2014

That is the lowest I've heard of since before the recession. Great find.

They just started reporting it as :secured" in March of this year. Many are disappointed with the change from reporting "CC" to "Secured CC" but happy they had the chance to re-establish credit.

Interesting. A secure card with a low rate. I hope it stays the same whenever interest rates rise.

That is a great deal and even better than a normal credit card I have although it doesn't offer any reward points.

Here is another good option I just heard about.
Open Sky has a secured Visa card that does not require a credit check. It also reports to all 3 credit bureaus.

6.99% is an excellent rate to have on a credit card. I've love to have that on an unsecured card.

So they report to the credit bureaus under Secured CC. Does that hurt you?
