It Does Not Hurt To Ask -- To Get Your Credit Card Annual Fees Waived

I just came across an article stating that 80% of the people who ask to have a credit card annual fee waived get a positive response. With almost all requests ending in the entire fee being waived.

FWIW, your chances of waiver improve if you pay on time. And maybe hint/threaten you will cancel the card without the waiver.

Also, it does not hurt to ask for lower interest rates (approved 70% of the time) or to waive a late fee (approved 87% of the time).
