It looks like Alaska Airlines has upped the offer for their co branded Alaksa Mileage Plan credit card.

Alaska Airlines recently merged with Virgin American and I expect that they will be aggressive to try to both grow their based on credit card users as well as convert Virgin members.

For a limited time:

The new offer is spend $1000 in purchases within 90 day of account opening and receive:

30,000 bonus miles
$100 statement credit
$0 + tax companion ticket

Alaska has one of the most generous frequent flyer programs and in some cases if you fly American Airlines but aren't an elite member you get a better deal crediting your flight to Alaska Airlines as they provide miles based on distance flown whereas American Airlines, United, and Delta only give you miles based on purchase price.
