Just wanted to post an update to this thread and mention that we now have a complete review for the Costco TrueEarnings card for those who are on the fence about signing up, definitely worth a read!

After almost a year of use I can report that the Costco card has been working out great so far. Just wish I signed up a year ago it probably would have saved me a few hundred $$$.

I shop a lot at Costco a lot and am considering getting their AMEX card. I only have one card right now, a Mastercard, but if it'll save me some money I think it might be worth it.

Yes it can be a great option, even if you don't shop that often at Costco because you can use it anywhere earn cash back on all of the purchases you make with the card. You can check out our full review of the card here.

Costco just announced that they are ending their partnership with American Express and are transitioning to Citi and Visa on April 1st, 2016. What this means for existing Amex Costco cardholders is unclear... but assuming the new partnership works like their existing partnership, you will soon be able to use any Visa card at Costco.

Perhaps Costco did a private survey from a pool of their customers that Citi has better rewards and people like them better is one reason.
