You usually have until the last 15 days of the calendar quarter to activate (and can start activating several weeks in advance. But the bonus rewards only apply to purchases made after activation.

Most Outrageous Signup Offer for 2016

It amazes me that Discover still continues to offer this signup bonus. Why are people not jumping on this?

    * Double your rewards for Year 1
    * Intro 0% APR for 12 months on purchases and transfers
    * All the other great Discover benefits and customer service

I'd act fast before Discover regains their senses.
