Hello ladies and gents, first time poster here! So I'm curious as too wether leaving a neg balance or "credit" of any given amount ($1-100) on a credit card that doesn't get used would help avoid that card from being closed for inactivity after a year or more. I've had accounts close in the past, accounts with large limits due to not being used and i was never notified until the account was actually closed and long gone. other then breaking out all the cards once a year and making small purchases to stay active, might be my only option. i belong to a credit union with a low cc apr so the wife and i stick to using the 1 card.
Thanks for your help, Matt
