Quest Diagnostic Hack Exposes Your Health Data
Quest Diagnostic released a statement saying that on November 26, 2016, “an unauthorized third party” hacked their servers and was able to access to names, dates of birth, and lab results and sin ome instances for 34,000 customers.
If your account was one of the affected accounts, Quest will notify you by mail. You can also contact them at 888-320-9970. This is a dedicated phone number set up to deal with this issue.
One piece of good news: The company says that stolen data did not include Social Security numbers, financial information (like credit card numbers), or details on your health insurance.
