Anyone planning on buying into Snapchat when it goes public?

Not interested. And frankly I don't even get it.

What do they need the money for? To buy another company that uses stolen tech, a la Facebook?

I don't think anyone over 16 is in the target demo.

I'm not interested in buying into a company that is only going public because it has so many option holders that it pretty much has to under the law.

if you're into speculating, could be a nice momentum play. but i agree, a forced IPO for a company not in need for any add'l cash seems a recipe for disaster.

Will Snap be the next Facebook? Or the next Twitter? That is the question.

If you think # means pound, and not hashtag, you should definitely be more interested in a flooring company than a social media company.
